Tyrone to have no home Super 8s games as Healy Park set to close until 2021

Tyrone look set to have no home games in this year's Super 8s if they qualify for the All-Ireland series.

Mickey Harte's men are set to be without home ground Healy Park for a year as the Omagh ground is set to undergo remedial works to address a flooding problem.

It'll be out of action until Spring 2021, meaning that the county's club championship fixtures and next year's Allianz League fixtures will also be affected.

Healy Park's issues have led to problems in the Tyrone Club Championship in recent years, with the county final two years ago moved to an alternative venue.

Local club Omagh St Enda’s will also be without a home during the works, which is due to go out to tender this month.

But this year's Allianz League fixtures will go ahead as normal as the Red Hands host Meath on January 26 before Dublin and Kerry pay a visit later in the campaign.
