A Co Tyrone man is celebrating after scoring a five-figure sum on football bets on teams as far flung as Mexico and Morocco.
The punter, who has asked to remain anonymous, placed the winning bet at a Boylesports shop in the county.
He bagged a cool £13,880 after a series of football results from around the world went his way.
The winner placed bets on 10 teams ranging from Dundalk in Co Louth to Casablanca in Morocco on Tuesday.
They won 1-0 and 2-0 respectively, while wins for Hibs, Hamstad (Sweden), Klaksvik (Faroe Isles), Spezia (Italy), Shaktar Donetsk (Ukraine) and Necaxa in Mexico left a nervous wait until the early hours of the morning.
Just two matches stood in the way of the windfall after that - but Portland Timbers won at 17/10 in America, while Tigres made no mistake at odds of 1/2 in Mexico.
The punter woke up to see their £40 betslip had sky-rocketed in value to a mega total of £13,880.23.
