Tyrone appoint Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher as joint-bosses

Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher have succeeded Mickey Harte as joint-managers of the Tyrone senior footballers.

Dooher and former Under-21 boss Logan take the reins on a three-year term after Harte's 18 years in charge of the Red Hand County came to an end last week.

Tyrone legend and three-time All-Ireland winner Dooher captained the county to the Sam Maguire in 2005 and 2008. And Logan was part of the Red Hand side that fell to defeat in the 1995 All-Ireland against Dublin.

Logan managed Tyrone to Under-21 All-Ireland success in 2015 and had Dooher on his backroom team for that triumph.

Now the pair will get the chance link up again with players they led to that victory as they take charge of the senior team.
