Tyron Woodley to offer Jake Paul alternative to tattoo bet after grudge fight

Tyron Woodley is willing to negotiate his tattoo bet with YouTube star Jake Paul should the former UFC champion win their grudge fight.

Paul and Woodley shook hands on a wager that would see the loser of the contest have a tattoo declaring their love for their opponent.

Woodley was initially reluctant to agree to the terms but is now confident he will stop Paul - and will allow his rival to opt out of having a tattoo.

"I'll let him negotiate. If he doesn't want to get the tattoo, you have got to pay me a nice bag. It was his bet. Either you get the tattoo or you give out some cash. Donate it to my charity," he said on The MMA Hour.

Paul quickly responded by saying that he had booked a 'tattoo artist' to attend the fight on Showtime, in the event that he defeats Woodley and wins the 'bet'.

"We'll see. I have a tattoo artist coming to the fight. So, when he loses, I'm sending her, tattoo baby. I'm sending her right into his locker room to get the tattoo going," he said.

"Because I want no excuses out of him. Because if he is a man, he shook on it in front of the world. He has to live up to it."

Woodley went on to predict the outcome of the fight, revealing that he will attempt to knock Paul out in 'any round' after performing well in the later rounds in sparring.

"I'm knocking him out. I don't even care how quick. My last time sparring, in the eighth round, I was throwing the most craziest counter combinations with first-round power," he added.

"I'm patient, I'm not going to rush it. But I'm going to try the entire fight to knock him out."

The clash between the pair heated up at the initial face-off with the pair agreeing this 'bet' but Paul has also upped by the stakes by including current feud rival Tommy Fury on the undercard for the clash, and a victory for Paul could set up a next contest against the British light-heavyweight.

And Paul has boldly predicted brought his pre-fight prediction forward stating that he will stop Woodley 'inside two rounds'.

"Honestly after this camp, I said three [rounds] and now I'm thinking, max two," he told Sky Sports.

"But to be honest, something in my heart tells me that it's going to be another one round fight.

"As crazy as that sounds. I think it's going to be a very short night for Tyron."

Paul has been backed by coach BJ Flores to 'beat the s***' out of Woodley in their clash, with the American also warning potential future opponent Conor McGregor that his career could come to a 'tumbling stop' if he faces the 24-year-old.

With a stacked card on his pay-per-view in the early hours of Monday morning, Paul has revealed that he is 'topping up the purses' of the undercard fighters, as he continues to push his campaign for 'better pay' for fighters.
