Tyrie Cleveland carted off with neck injury; Eagles confim movement in all of his extremities

Thursday night’s Philadelphia Eagles (0-1) and Cleveland Browns (1-1) game was temporarily put on hold following Eagles wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland getting carted off the field after a brutal hit, possibly resulting in a head or neck injury.

Support for Cleveland was shown around the league.

On a third down play by the Eagles, Cleveland collided with a Browns defender, resulting in him landing hard on the ground.

He stayed on the ground in the same position, and the medical staff was quick to act, especially in the wake of the Damar Hamlin situation in January when he collapsed on the field.

With the fourth quarter approaching, Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro announced that Cleveland would be out for the game (neck) but has movement in all of his extremities, a great sign that he is already on his road to recovery.
