Tyrese Haliburton enjoyed a sweet celebration with his father after a huge Pacers win

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton was able to lead his team to a narrow victory against the Bucks on Thursday.

Haliburton finished the win with 29 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and one block. After the game was over, as the crowd cheered his accomplishments, the guard was able to find his dad waiting for him on the sidelines.

The two had a warm embrace and Tyrese’s father, John Haliburton, looked incredibly proud of what his son had just done on the court. This game had an extra layer of importance for them considering that the Pacers guard was born in Milwaukee and grew up attending Bucks games.

Last season, the NBA father (who goes by @PapaHaliburton on Twitter) hilariously told Buddy Hield that he needs to stop dribbling before shooting the ball.

Hield took the advice and then immediately used it to connect on the fastest 3-point shot in league history.

The elder Haliburton clearly knows the game well and is a referee, per The Ames Tribune. It was heartwarming to see how happy he was to watch the success of his son.
