Tyrann Mathieu wants to see LSU CB Greedy Williams in Kansas City

The Kansas City Chiefs newest defensive leader has a preference toward who the team should take in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft.

Tyrann Mathieu is advocating for the Chiefs to take LSU CB Greedy Williams if he happens to fall to their pick in the draft. It could be a possibility that Williams is available too, considering Chiefs GM Brett Veach doesn’t believe there is a traditional top-10 CB in this class. It’s also possible that the Chiefs would have to manufacture a trade up in the draft in order to acquire Williams.

Why would Williams fall in the draft? The big knock against him during the pre-draft process has been his tackling or lack thereof. The Honey Badger doesn’t seem too concerned about that, though. He has a proposal to get the haters to stop worrying so much about the tackling. Take a look:

Mathieu was even in attendance at the LSU Spring Game along with Williams. Together they helped get the defensive back group hyped up ahead of the game. Mathieu even had some inspiring words for Williams. Check out the video down below:

How about it Chiefs Kingdom? Would you like to see Honey Badger mentoring Williams in the NFL? Let us here your thoughts of Facebook and Twitter.
