'Typical!' - Leeds fans left frustrated over West Brom equaliser against Huddersfield Town

Leeds United fans have vented their frustrations after the officials failed to spot three offside players for West Brom's equaliser against Huddersfield Town.

Anything other than three points for the Baggies will seal Leeds United's place in the Premier League for next season.

Huddersfield took an early lead too, to lift spirits in West Yorkshire, with Chris Willock putting the Terriers ahead.

However, just before half-time, Dara O'Shea pulled West Brom level to leave Leeds and Brentford fans' nerves jangling.

To add insult to injury, replays showed that goal-scorer O'Shea, as well as two other West Brom players, were offside as their free-kick was whipped in.

Despite appeals for offside from the Huddersfield defenders, the referees waved their protests away and awarded the goal.

Of course, the Whites need only one more point from their remaining games but will be promoted if West Brom, or Brentford on Saturday, fail to win before they're next in action against Derby County on Sunday.

One fan tweeted: "Three players offside #lufc"

Another wrote: "Offside, bloody typical! West Brom will go on to win now."
