Dozens of cars were burned in a fire at an auction site as a Typhoon Jebi swept through western Japan.
It is unclear what what caused the blaze that was filmed by broadcasters in the country, as firefighters worked to tackle the blaze.
Police investigating the incident have connected it to the typhoon, which made landfall in western Japan, causing heavy rain to flood Kansai International Airport, situated on a manmade island near Osaka.
The bridge from the airport to the mainland was heavily damaged after a fuel tanker crashed into it after being swept away from Osaka Bay by the cyclone. The coast guard said that the 11 crew members on board were unharmed.
However at least six people have died as the typhoon, with winds well over 100mph, swept across the west of the country.
Jebi is the strongest typhoon to make landfall in Japan since 1993, according to Japan's Kyodo News service.
