Tyrone star Cathal McShane is set to join AFL side Brisbane Lions, according to reports.
In what would be a major blow to the Red Hands, McShane looks set to join his former minor teammate Conor McKenna - who plays for Essendon - Down Under.
Reports in The Irish News and TeamTalkmag suggest McShane, who won an All-Star for his performances in 2019, will fly out to Australia in the coming days.
The Owen Roe’s clubman kicked seven points in last year's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final defeat to Kerry.
His departure would be the latest blow to Tyrone manager Mickey Harte, who is already set to be without captain Mattie Donnelly for a large part of 2020 through injury.
