What Brexit Party leader Farage hoped would have been a glorious visit to Newcastle turned out to be anything but when he had a milkshake thrown at him by someone while he was walking through the city.

He has now apologised but, with their tongue firmly in their cheek, Tyne Bank are making a playful nod to one of their biggest new stories of the year in Newcastle with the contest at its big New Year's Eve bash, being hosted together What’s The Point? Quizzes - the guys responsible for Tyne Bank's sold out Greggs themed game shows earlier this year.

The party also promises a 'Donald Trump Chinese trade deal firework display', as well as much more traditional NYE musts like a New Year Countdown and Auld Lang Syne sing along.
