Tyler, The Creator seized the opportunity to take a savage swipe at Theresa May as he accepted an award at the BRITs.
The US rapper won the award for International Male Solo Artist and publicly slammed the former Prime Minister during his time on stage.
May was home secretary in 2015, when Tyler, the Creator was banned from entering the UK over some of his song lyrics.
Speaking at London's 02 Arena on Tuesday night, Tyler said: "I want to give a special shout-out to someone who I hold dear to my heart, who made it that I couldn’t come to this country five years ago.
“I know she’s sitting at home p***ed off. Thank you Theresa May.”
Back in 2015, Tyler the Creator was forced to cancel four dates- including Reading and Leeds festivals- after being banned from the UK for 'violent' lyrics.
His manager, Christian Clancy, said she'd received a letter from the Home Office, which specifically cited lyrics that Tyler had written seven years ago.
Clancy posted on his Tumblr: “Highlights from the letter include that Tyler’s work ‘encourages violence and intolerance of homosexuality’ and ‘fosters hatred with views that seek to provoke others to terrorist acts.’”
The Home Office’s decision was slammed at the times, with many pointing out the double standard where Eminem was allowed to perform two sold out shows at Wembley Stadium in 2014, despite his use of violent lyrics.
Tyler’s was not the only politically-charged statement of the evening.

Psychodrama was awarded Album Of The Year in the last gong presentation of the night after Dave’s performance.
