Tyler Roberts overlooks Pablo Hernandez as best-ever team-mate

Leeds United striker Tyler Roberts participated in a special Q&A session over the weekend, answering a plethora of different questions on a range of topics.

From being asked about his favourite holiday destination to his favourite Magnum ice cream flavour, the Wales international opened up on a variety of different topics, which related to both life in and out of football.

And one question put to Roberts, who has netted three goals in the Championship this season, was who does he rate higher out of club team-mate Pablo Hernandez or international team-mate Gareth Bale.

Hernandez, of course, is considered as one of the very best talents the Championship has to offer, as he has proven on plenty of occasions over the past few seasons.

Bale, though, is one of the best players in the world and has delivered the goods at the very highest level football has to offer, having scored three goals in just two UEFA Champions League Finals.

While Roberts shared plenty of love for his Whites team-mate, the 21-year-old selected Bale as his choice.

"I have got to go with Bale," Roberts said during a Q&A video shared on the club's official Twitter account. "Pablo is a special player and done a lot of great things.

"Bale is just in a different world to most players in the world, isn't he? So it has to be Bale."

As well as opening up on the battle between Hernandez and Bale, Roberts also spoke on just how much it would mean to him if Leeds were to end their Premier League exile and return to the top-flight this summer.

"It would mean so much," he said. "Winning the Championship is obviously a massive thing, but just to get promoted and get Leeds United back into the Premier League would be a crazy, massive thing in my trophy cabinet.

"The fans are so passionate. I know all the hard work the boys and the staff have put in.

"It would mean a lot of a lot of different reasons."
