Tyler Lockett wants to take on the Chargers in pickup basketball game

It’s the offseason, and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson isn’t the only one who wants to play something other than football this summer. Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett has taken to twitter to put together a hoops team to take on the Chargers, led by Keenan Allen, in a game of five-on-five basketball.

Here is the squad, featuring Doug Baldwin, Lockett, Bradley McDougald, Bobby Wagner and George Fant.

The Chargers have a formidable lineup of their own, boasting Casey Hayward, Allen, Melvin Gordon, Mike Williams and Antonio Gates, with Melvin Ingram as the sixth man.

Gates and Fant would be the matchup to watch, as each played college basketball before playing in the NFL. Lockett is no joke either, having won a shooting contest against a handful of Golden State Warriors players, including Kevin Durant and Steph Curry.

Lockett seems serious about turning this into a charity basketball game, although Allen has other things in mind:

A Seahawks – Chargers charity basketball game would attract quite the crowd. Who do you think would win?
