Tyler Boyd helped off the field with leg injury late vs. Ravens

In the fourth quarter of a 49-10 blowout at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals star wideout Tyler Boyd needed help off the field after suffering what appeared to be an ankle injury.

Boyd aired for a high pass from Ryan Finley and got tangled on his way down, awkward landing on his leg. Trainers eventually helped him off the field.

One of the only bright spots for the Bengals over the past two seasons, Boyd entered the game with 51 catches, 25 first downs and 536 yards. He had led the team in receiving Sunday with six catches for 62 yards.

The Bengals were risking the newly-extended Boyd late in a blowout in an effort to see what a rookie quarterback can do. Now we’ll have to see if the gamble costs Boyd any games.
