It was test tubes at the ready for Children at Twynholm Primary School when they celebrated British Science Week 2022 – with a little help from their teachers.
Tasks for the P1-4 “Super Scientists” included how to separate materials and learn about the different elements.
To help them gain understanding the pupils carried out a range of experiments to investigate various types of substances ranging from sand and salt to iron filings.
The class enjoyed sieving, filtering and even magnets to achieve the desired results.
