Two young children among four taken to hospital after crash

A serious road accident on the A467 Aberbeeg roundabout saw two young children taken to hospital.

The road traffic collision, involving two cars, took place at around 6.40 pm on November 30.

While the road has since re-opened, two young children aged one and two were taken to hospital following the incident. A woman from the car was also taken to hospital.

A man from the other vehicle was taken to hospital with leg injuries.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident and closed the Aberbeeg Road from Llanhilleth traffic lights A467 northbound, and from the main roundabout southbound.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "We had a call at about 6.40 pm on November 30 reporting a road traffic collision involving two cars on the Aberbeeg Road.

"One man has been taken to hospital with leg injuries.

"A woman and two children, aged one and two, from the second car, have also been taken to hospital where they are receiving treatment."
