Two-year-old girl gets stuck in washing machine - and parents can't get her out

This is the shocking moment firefighters rescued a crying toddler trapped in a washing machine for hours.

The two-year-old girl climbed into the washing machine for fun but became stuck in the drum on June 25.

Her frantic parents tried to pull her out of the machine but were unable to rescue their daughter.

They called a washing machine repair man to dismantle the equipment, but the child was unable to be freed.

Her parents later called the emergency services in a desperate bid to save their daughter.

A team of seven firefighters soon arrived at the scene in Chengdu, China, and pushed the washing machine on its side to reach for the child.

Grabbing her ankles, they successfully managed to lift the crying toddler, who was red-faced and drenched in sweat from the ordeal.

Speaking about the incident, mother said: “She sat in there by herself, but it was too hot and she trapped herself in her rush to climb out.

“She pushed and pushed and trapped herself further and further inside.

“We even called a washing machine repairman to try and take the appliance apart, but it was unsuccessful.”
