Teenagers threatened with knife during terrifying attack in Bury

Three teenagers were threatened with a knife during a terrifying attack in Radcliffe.

Police were called to Darbyshire Street at around 7.30pm on Tuesday (March 16) to reports of an assault.

The attacker – believed to be a man – verbally abused the group before threatening them with a knife.

No one was injured.

Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made, a spokesman for GMP said.

In a statement, the force said: “At around 7.30pm on Tuesday 16 March 2021, police were called to a report of an assault on Darbyshire Street, Radcliffe, Bury.

“Officers attended and established that two women were verbally abused, and subsequently threatened with a knife.

“No one was injured.

“Enquiries are on-going, and no arrests have been made at this time.”
