Two vehicle crash in north Dublin causes traffic chaos for drivers

A two vehicle crash in north Dublin caused traffic chaos for drivers this morning.

The crash happened just after Baggot Rd junction outbound on the Navan Road shortly after 9am.

All lanes were blocked and the road was closed between Baggot Rd and Ashtown Grove while emergency services attended the scene.

The road reopened shortly before 11am.

It has not been confirmed whether or not there were any injuries due to the crash.

A garda spokesperson told Dublin Live: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle collision on the Navan Road in Ashtown, Co.Dublin this morning, 20 th November 2021.

"It’s understood the collision occurred after 9am.

"No further information available at this time."
