Two-vehicle car crash on A82 causes major delays for drivers

A two-vehicle c ar crash on the A82 is causing major disruption for rush hour drivers.

Police were called to the scene on the A82 after reports of a collision at 6.55am on Friday morning.

Paramedics were called to the scene.

Two people were taken to hospital.

Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A lane has been closed and a contraflow has been set up but drivers heading southbound have been warned to expect delays of more than one hour.

Those heading northbound may also be delayed for one hour.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a road traffic crash at 6.55am on Friday morning.

"Police attended the scene.

"Two people were taken to hospital and there injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

"The accident has been cleared and a contraflow has now been in place."
