Two-time Wimbledon finalist announces birth of her first child

• Ons Jabeur has announced on Instagram the birth of her first child.
• Jabeur, 31, who made the Wimbledon singles final in 2022 and 2023, made the announcement on Tuesday after giving birth to a baby boy the previous day.
• She posted a photo of herself with her husband and their baby son on Instagram alongside the message: “A tiny miracle, a lifetime of love. Welcoming our baby boy, Elyan Kammoun 20/04/2026.”
• The Tunisian tennis star is a former world No 2, and she also made the final of the US Open in 2022.
• She confirmed that she would “take a step back” from tennis last July, and then revealed she was pregnant four months later.
