Two teens arrested after boy stabbed repeatedly at Rutherglen station

Two teens have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a boy was stabbed repeatedly at a train station in Glasgow.

Police rushed to station at around 5pm on Monday, October 7 after reports of the incident.

A teenage boy was rushed to hospital after suffering injuries to his chest and lower body.

An ambulance crew rushed him to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Police have confirmed that an 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested shortly after the incident.

They have both been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police officers will be at the scene today carrying out further enquiries.”
