Two teenagers have been charged over the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl in Glasgow Green on Saturday.
The males, aged 16 and 17, are expected to appear in court later today, August 18.
A huge P olice Scotland presence was seen in the area on Saturday night in a bid to reassure members of the public.
A cordon was put in place as cops carried out investigations.
A police spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that two males, ages 16 and 17, have been arrested and charged in connection with the serious sexual assault of a 16-year-old female.
"The incident took place in the Glasgow Green area on Saturday, 15 August.
"The two males are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today."
