Man arrested and charged in connection with 'disturbance' in Scots town

Cops have arrested and charged a man in connection with a 'disturbance' in a Scots town.

A huge police presence of at least seven vehicles was spotted tonight in Blair Avenue, Hurlford, Kilmarnock.

Cops were called to the scene amid reports of the disturbance in the area at around 5pm this evening, September 28.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 5pm on Tuesday, 28 September, to report of a disturbance in Blair Avenue, Hurlford, Kilmarnock.

"A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
