Two teenagers have been arrested after armed police were deployed to a Port Talbot street.
Officers headed to Edward Street at around 5pm on Thursday, February 18, following reports of a male youth with a knife.
South Wales Police officers, including armed officers, carried out a search of the area and enquiries were carried out.
Two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of affray.
Both of them are currently in police custody.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "We were called to reports of male youth with a knife in Edward Street, Port Talbot, at about 4.50pm on Thursday, February 18.
"Officers, including armed officers, attended and a search of the area and enquiries were undertaken.
"Two youths, aged 14 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of affray and are currently in police custody."
