Two teenage boys racially abused by bald man carrying a plant pot

Two teenage boys were racially abused by a man in St Werburghs, Bristol.

The incident happened on James Street near the Victoria Pub on Sunday, January 24 at about 1.25pm.

The two victims were approached by a man who shouted racist abuse at them before walking off.

Avon and Somerset Police are searching for witnesses who may have seen the incident.

In a statement, police said the man was in his 40s and was carrying a plant pot.

They said: "He is described as white, bald, aged in his 40s and was carrying a yellow number plate and a plant pot.

"If you witnessed the incident, or have any information that could help police with their enquiry, contact police on 101 quoting reference 5221016911.

"If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5221016911."
