Two teenage boys have been charged after a firework hit a pram in Glasgow.

One woman saw the terrifying incident while walking with a friend and her 18-month old daughter outside Langside Halls in Glasgow's southside around 2.30pm yesterday.

Eyewitnesses said the mother of the baby was in 'complete shock and tears' after the explosive was launched.

Police say two 14-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the incident.

A statement from Greater Glasgow Division tonight reads: "Two 14-year-old boys have been charged in connection with culpable and reckless conduct after a firework hit a pram in Langside Road in Glasgow at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, 19 October, 2021.

"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
