Two people have been taken to hospital following a fire at a flat in Edinburgh .
Fire crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a kitchen blaze in Saughton Mains Park , the south west of the capital at 8.19pm on Thursday.
Firefighters found a pan of food alight and put out the flames.
As a result of the blaze two people suffered smoke inhalation.
They were given oxygen at the scene and then taken to hospital by ambulance.
