Two taken to hospital after car overturns in road

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Bolton.

A car overturned and landed on its side following the collision on Darwen Road, Bromley Cross.

Photographs taken from the scene also show damage to the front of a van.

Emergency services were called to the incident at around 8am, with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) both in attendance.

A NWAS spokesman said: "Two patients have been taken to hospital, no major injuries."
