A school in Sunderland has fully closed due to coronavirus while another two have sent year groups home.
Fulwell Junior School is fully closed while Washington Academy and Richard Avenue Primary School are both partially closed to year groups.
According to Together for Children, which delivers children's services on behalf of Sunderland City Council, the schools were added to the closure list on Monday, November 30.
Fulwell Junior School is fully closed for deep clean and is expected to reopen on December 1 with the school also partially closed to Year 3 and Year 4 who are not due back until December 10.
Richard Avenue Primary School is partially closed to one Year 2 class who are due back on December 7 and all of Year 5 who are due to return to school on December 10.
Meanwhile, Washington Academy has closed to Year 8 but it is not yet known when they can return to school.
The schools are the latest closures to be announced this week with 12 schools in Sunderland currently fully or partially closed.
A number of schools across the region have been affected by coronavirus after they reopened last month.
Since the start of term 83 schools across the city have been affected by coronavirus by either partially closing, announcing cases or asking pupils to self isolate.
In some cases, the closures only apply to certain year groups or class group, depending on where the reported coronavirus is found.
While some asked year groups or bubbles to isolate at home, others decided to close for a deep clean.
