TWO Glasgow restaurants have been recognised among the UK's very best neighbourhood dining spots in the Good Food Guide's 100 Best Local Restaurants 2026.

Gloriosa and Eusebi Deli were the only Glasgow venues to feature on this year's list, which celebrates independent restaurants offering outstanding food, value for money and a warm welcome.

Compiled by the Good Food Guide in partnership with payments company Square, the annual awards are now in their 16th year and have become a showcase for some of Britain's finest local restaurants.

Coming in at 24th place, Gloriosa has established itself as one of Glasgow's standout dining destinations since opening in Yorkhill in 2019.

The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and wine bar on Argyle Street was previously praised by the Good Food Guide as "a leading light of Glasgow's food scene" and awarded a "Very Good" rating.

Its ever-changing menu blends Mediterranean flavours with the best seasonal Scottish produce, featuring handmade pasta, seafood, vegetables and wood-fired breads.

The restaurant's rosemary focaccia has become particularly famous, with critic Jay Rayner calling it "the best focaccia" he had ever eaten.

Alongside its acclaimed food, Gloriosa has earned a loyal following for its carefully selected natural and European wines and relaxed, neighbourhood atmosphere.

West End favourite Eusebi Deli was ranked 71st on the list.

The family-run Italian restaurant and deli on Park Road is led by Giovanna Eusebi, continuing a family tradition of importing artisan Italian produce and serving authentic dishes inspired by southern Italy.

Best known for its breakfasts, brunches and handmade pasta, the restaurant's menu also includes Roman-style pizza, fresh pastries and desserts baked daily.

Signature dishes such as ox cheek pappardelle, handmade ravioli and the much-loved "Yesterday's Lasagne" have helped make it one of Glasgow's most popular dining destinations.

As well as the restaurant, customers can browse a deli stocked with Italian cheeses, charcuterie, wines and specialist groceries.

Eusebi Deli has built a strong reputation among diners and critics alike and is set to expand further, with a second West End venue planned for Gibson Street focusing on wine and Mediterranean-inspired dining.
