Two Scots Queens sail through to next week's Drag Race UK grand finale

Scots were cheering for joy in front of their TVs last night as the two Scottish contestants in Ru Paul's Drag Race UK made it through to next week's glamorous final.

Lawrence Chaney and Ellie Diamond have been battling it out the last ten weeks with their range of fabulous outfits, stunning make-up and hilarious on-screen banter - with the odd bicker - but the two Queen's will face Bimini and Tayce with the hopes of scooping the crown.

Lawrence from Glasgow and Ellie from Dundee had our hearts from the get go as they showed off their Scottish roots in the very first episode.

The pair wowed on the runaway with their Scottish creations - which were both highly praised by the judging panel made up of Ru Paul, Michelle Visage, Liz Hurley and Graham Norton.

Lawrence decided to create a Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired latex gown and Ellie nodded to her hometown of Dundee with a Dennis the Menace costume.

The pair had come so far and were always supporting each other but during last week's episode, tensions between Lawrence and Ellie bubbled after the Glaswegian accused Ellie of "game-playing" over the scheduling of last week's comedy show which saw A'Whora eliminated.

Lawrence had branded the move a "kick in the teeth" and accused the fellow Scot of "setting her up".

In last night's episode, all tension was settled and the remaining four had to take part in a EastEnders-themed challenge, called BeastEnders, to showcase their hilarious acting talents.

The runway challenge was to showcase a 'panto dames' dame look and Lawrence went for a high fashion version of Widow Twanky and completed her look with a sewing machine attached to her head.

Ellie opted for a Royal Queen theme which included a crown and stunning colourful and sparkly makeup.

When it came to judging time, Lawrence's take on Phyllis Bitchell had the judges in stitches despite her struggle to remember her lines during rehearsals but in the end she was granted through to the final.

But Ellie Diamond's portrayal of 'Thot Bottom", a character based on Dot Cotton, wasn't enough to impress the judges and seen her take on Tayce in the lip-sync where they went head to head with Steps' 'Last Thing On My Mind'.

But in a shocking twist, after the lip-sync, Ru Paul decided that no one would be sent home and that all four of the Queens would go through to the final.

Who are you hoping to see scoop the crown?
