Two school children rushed to hospital after being hit by van in Glasgow

Two school children have been taken to hospital after being hit by a van in Glasgow .

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Victoria Street in the city's Govanhill at 3.15 on Tuesday, December 3.

Police locked down the road while paramedics assessed the children.

They were taken to hospital "as a precaution".

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 3.15pm today to a report of collision involving a small van collided and two school children.

"They were taken to hospital as a precaution."
