Two rushed to hospital after crash in Fife as police close off road

Two people have been rushed to hospital in Fife after a crash involving two cars on the A915.

Emergency services services were called to the scene between Upper and Lower Largo in Fife at 1.20pm this afternoon.

The drivers of the cars have been taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. The extent of their injuries are unknown.

The road was closed for just over two hours before it was reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 1.20pm on Monday, 5 December, to a report of a crash involving two cars on the A915 between Upper and Lower Largo, Fife.

“Emergency services attended and two people, the drivers, have been taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.

“Recovery was arranged and the road re-opened around 3.30pm. Enquiries are ongoing.”
