Black bags will be accepted at two Swansea recycling centres again from next week.
Swansea Council has announced you'll be able to dispose of the black bags at Llansamlet and Clyne recycling centres from Monday, November 30.
But that is on one condition - there's no recyclable items inside.
As per the authority's Keep It Out campaign at curbside collections, it says black bags are for non-recyclable waste only.
It encourages people to "sort it before you bring it", with only limited sorting available on site.
The following items cannot be put inside the black bags...
- Paper and cardboard
- Glass and tins
- Glass bottles and jars
- Plastic bottles, pots and trays
- Food waste
- Garden waste
- Clothes and textiles
- Electrical items
Both recycling centres will be open from 8.30am until 5pm, seven days a week.
However, if you wish to visit the Llansamlet centre, you must now book a slot first, after a new system was introduced on October 26.
Swansea Council said 600 vehicles a day were visiting Llansamlet, the biggest and busiest of its recycling centres across the city.
It added that enhanced social distancing at the site meant there was less space for vehicles and queues could build-up quickly causing long delays for users.
The new system only applies to Llansamlet with the alternative sites at Tir John, Garngoch, Penlan and Clyne remaining as they are, with no plans for that situation to change in future.
