Two roads to shut for five days in Lanarkshire village next month

Two roads in Chapelhall will close for five days next month for carriageway resurfacing.

The village's Sherdale Avenue, from School Street to Gibb Street, and Cardell Crescent, between School Street and Burn Crescent, are shutting from January 5-9.

School Street will act as a diversion for drivers during both closures, with Burn Crescent, Loch Road and Sherdale Avenue also available during the latter closure.

And Glenboig’s Gain Road, from Mollinsburn Road to Yetts Hole Road, will close from 9pm to 6am on January 27 and 31 for work by Scottish Water; the latter two roads will be alternative routes for motorists.
