Two Rangers fixtures rearranged due to Viaplay Cup final

Rangers' matches against St Johnstone and Hibs have been rearranged due to Viaplay Cup duty.

The pair of fixtures have been shifted due to Rangers playing in the semi-final at Hampden and subsequently booking a spot in the final next month.

Rangers were meant to host St Johnstone on Saturday, November 4 but due to the semi-final matches last weekend, the match will now be played on Wednesday, December 20. Kick-off will be 7.45pm.

And the scheduled match between Hibs and Rangers initially set for Sunday, December 17 has been moved over a clash with the Viaplay Cup final.

That league match - at Easter Road - will now be played on Wednesday, January 24 again with a 7.45pm kick-off.

A club statement confirmed: "Rangers can confirm the following league fixture updates with rearrangements in place due to the club’s participation in the Viaplay Cup semi-final and upcoming final on December 17."
