Two Range Rovers torched while parked in Scots driveway in terrifying early morning attack

Two Range Rovers were torched in an early morning fire attack in Coatbridge.

Emergency services raced to Luggieburn Walk around 12.45am on Monday when one of the vehicles was up in flames.

The fire spread to the second vehicle, as well as a nearby garage area. Both cars have been extensively damaged.

The white and black Range Rovers were both parked in a private driveway at the time of the incident with the black vehicle initially targeted.

Luckily no-one was injured as a result of the fire and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended to extinguish the flames.

Following door-to-door and CCTV enquiries officers are keen to trace a black vehicle in the estate with its headlights off around the time of the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident or the vehicle to get in touch.

Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 0089 of 6 December.

An anonymous report can be given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
