Here is your Tottenham morning digest for Tuesday, January 12th.
Two players return to Tottenham
Spurs now have nine players out on loan at various clubs across Europe and the Football League this season after Kazaiah Sterling returned at the end of his loan spell at Southend United and Jack Roles' difficult time at Burton Albion also came to an end with an injury.
Some players will return next season to be involved in Mourinho's first team squad, some are looking to move on permanently while some of the academy players are looking to bolster their professional CVs for their long-term plans.
Elsewhere, Troy Parrott got some decent minutes under his belt for Millwall in their FA Cup third-round victory while Oliver Skipp got a rare rest in Norwich City's FA Cup tie.

Mourinho targets Eder Militao
Jose Mourinho has made an offer to Real Madrid to sign Eder Militao on loan for the remainder of the season, Corriere dello Sport states.
It's suggested that Zinedine Zidane isn't against the idea, though he'd look for Spurs to cover the Brazilian's €2.5m wages in their entirety.
Militao has just 134 minutes of La Liga action so far this season, with his last appearance coming against SD Huesca in October.
The two clubs do, of course, have a decent line of communication with Gareth Bale spending the season on loan in north London from the Santiago Bernabeu.
What Mourinho did to make Young laugh
Marine boss Neil Young admitted he and his staff could only laugh at Tottenham Hotspur's strength in depth towards the end of the FA Cup tie between the two sides on Sunday.
Spurs named a strong side against the non-league side, with the starting 11 including Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura, while Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon also came off the substitutes' bench in the second half.
That earned the respect from the boss of the Merseyside outfit, who said: "Our lads have won seven games to get here - and to bring the team that he did - and still bring in Gareth Bale and Reguilon off the bench. In the end, we were laughing at who was coming off the bench."
