A man and woman were taken to hospital after a serious house fire.
It's understood the woman dropped down from a first-floor window to escape the blaze.
The man also managed to get out himself as crews responded to the emergency in Failsworth, Oldham, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said.
Both were taken to hospital by paramedics, where it's understood they are recovering.
Neighbours and a local teenager ran to help and were involving in helping the couple to safety.
Three fire engines from Hollins, Chadderton and Oldham stations were called to Stansfield Road in Failsworth at around 10.45pm on Saturday.
Stansfield Road and the adjacent Roman Road were closed by police as a result.
Images from the scene reveal extensive damage to the semi-detached property.
The front bay windows and front door were burnt out and brickwork also appears to have been badly charred.

North West Ambulance Service and officers from Greater Manchester Police were also at the scene.
A witness who saw the emergency said: "Firefighters were hosing down the front room of the house, which has been ruined.
"The flames were up to the roof of the house."
A fire service spokesman said: "We were called to a fire at Stansfield Road in Failsworth.
"A man and woman were assisted by firefighters and taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service."
No ages for the pair have been released.
No further details were available.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is expected to take place.
