Two people have been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a motor vehicle crash on the Central Coast.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at Mangrove Mountain about 3.15am on Saturday.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter service said in a statement that two people were found at the scene - a 47-year-old man and a woman aged in her 40s, both of whom had sustained multiple injuries.
The woman was placed in a medically-induced coma due to her condition. Both were taken to John Hunter Hospital.
