Two people taken to hospital after incident at quarry

Two people have been taken to hospital following an incident at a quarry. The casualties were taken to hospital from the quarry near Snatchwood, Abersychan, after ambulance crews attended the scene on Wednesday evening.

The current status of the casualties is unknown. However, a spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service has confirmed that two people have been taken to hospital following the incident, with one taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff and the other to the Grange University hospital in Cwmbran.
