Two people taken to hospital after crash in Kirkintilloch

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in north Glasgow last night.

Police say the two hospitalised were taken "as a precaution".

The crash involving one car happened at around 8.55pm on Glasgow Road, Kirkintilloch.

Police have confirmed that the driver and passenger were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution and there are no reports of injuries.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Glasgow Road, Kirkintilloch, around 8.55pm on Friday, May 7.

"The driver and passenger of the car were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution."
