Two people were slashed by thugs during a horror stab rampage on Friday night.
The shocking incidents happened in the Ronanstown area of Clondalkin, Dublin, when two people were separately attacked in the space of just 15 minutes.
One of the victims, who is just 17-years-old, is currently in a serious condition in hospital.
While it is currently unclear, gardai are investigating if the two stabbings are connected after being carried out within a short distance of each other in the southside suburb.
At around 9:45pm, officers rushed to the Castle Road where a man was brought to Connolly Hospital suffering from stab wounds in the leg.
Just 15 minutes before that, officers found another person nearby, the teenager, who had multiple stab wounds.
He is currently in Tallaght Hospital where his condition is being described as serious but not-life threatening.
A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred last night at approximately 21:30pm.
"A male was taken to Tallaght Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries and enquiries are ongoing."
He added: "Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on the Castle Road at approximately 21:45pm, 11 December.
"A male was taken to Blanchardstown Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries and enquiries are ongoing."
