A man and a woman have been rushed to Scots hospital after a car crashed into a tree outside an Asda supermarket.
Police were called to the scene at around 11.05am on Wednesday September 9 at the superstore on Jesmond Drive in Aberdeen. Ambulance and Scottish Fire and Rescue services were also in attendance as the pair were both taken to hospital.
The extent of their injuries remain unknown at this point. Footage of the dramatic incident showcases the scene of the crash, with the vehicle involved blocking the walkway and submerged in nearby foliage, reports Aberdeen Live.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 11.05am on Wednesday, 7 September, we were called to a report of a car crashing into a tree at Asda Superstore, Jesmond Drive in the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen.
“A man and a woman have been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.30am on Wednesday, 7 September to reports of a road traffic collision involving one car on Jesmond Drive, Aberdeen.
"Operations Control mobilised two appliances to assist a female casualty from the vehicle.

"A male casualty was also in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
"Crews made the area safe before leaving the scene."
