Two people rushed to hospital after two-car crash on busy Scots motorway

Two people have been rushed to hospital after a smash on a busy Scots motorway.

Emergency services raced to the crash on the M90 northbound near Glenfarg at around 4.50pm on Thursday, January 6.

It's understood two vehicles were involved in the collision.

One lane remains closed due to debris heading northbound between J8 Arlary and J9 Bridge of Earn.

Two people had to be rushed to Perth Royal Infirmary.

Cops confirmed they remain at the scene on Thursday evening.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received report of a two-car crash on the M90 northbound near Glenfarg around 4.50pm on Thursday, 6 January, 2022.

"Emergency services are at the scene and one lane is closed. Two people have been taken to Perth Royal Infirmary as a precaution.”
