Two people have been taken to hospital after a serious crash near a holiday park in Dumfries and Galloway.
Police were called to the A713 near Loch Tay after reports of a the three vehicle crash at around 2pm this afternoon.
Ambulance crews took two of the people involved to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary following the incident.
Cops were unable to confirm the condition of those injured in the smash.
Drivers were warned that the road between Parton and St John’s Town of Dalry was closed while emergency services crews continued their enquiries.
The road was reopened at 4.30pm.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were called to a three-vehicle RTC on the A713 between Parton and St John’s Town of Dalry at 2pm this afternoon.
“Two people were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
“The road reopened to drivers at 4.30pm this afternoon.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
