Two people rushed to hospital after single-car crash in Aberdeenshire

Two people were rushed to hospital following a horror crash in Aberdeenshire today.

The A952 Fraserburgh to Mintlaw road was closed for two hours while emergency services dealt with the incident that happened near New Leeds.

Officers confirmed the vehicle was carrying five people including the driver when it crashed at about 5.35am

Two of the occupants were subsequently transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for emergency treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 5.35am on Monday, 21 December, 2020, officers were called to a report of a one car road crash on the A952 near New Leeds. 

“Emergency services attended and two of the five occupants of the car were taken by Ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. 

“Road reopened around 7.30am.”
