Two people are in hospital after a serious accident in Cork saw a car flip onto its roof.
The incident took place at around 10.15am on Wednesday on the Cathedral Road in the city centre.
A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a two-vehicle traffic collision that occurred on Cathedral Rd, Cork City at approximately 10:15am.
"The road is currently closed while the scene is being attended."
Local station RedFM are reporting that two people were taken to hospital after the early-morning collision.
